For our client, an internationally active company in mechanical and plant engineering, we are looking for a committed individual to join them as an Automation Technician in Mechanical Engineering. In this varied role, you will be responsible for the electrical assembly and wiring of sophisticated machines and systems. You will work closely with the technical development team and make an important contribution to the quality and functionality of the systems.

02 Your task

• Electrical installation, wiring and configuration of machines and systems
• Conducting functional tests, test runs and quality checks before delivery
• Support with the assembly and integration of mechanical and electrotechnical components
• Analysis and rectification of technical faults during setup and commissioning
• Creation and maintenance of technical work and inspection instructions
• Participation in optimizing assembly, testing and commissioning processes
• Support in the further development of workstations, test facilities and technical standards
• Close collaboration with engineering, production and quality assurance
• Occasional service and support assignments at customer sites domestically and abroad (If desired)

04 Your profile

• Completed training as an automation technician EFZ, automation assembler EFZ, electrical installer EFZ or comparable basic technical training
• Professional experience in machine, plant or control engineering is an advantage
• In-depth knowledge of electrical engineering and electrical wiring
• Interest in technical systems as well as software and control applications
• Independent, structured and precise way of working
• Team-oriented, reliable and responsible personality
• Fluent German language skills, English skills an advantage
