Role overview

Are you interested in building projects, facility management and are happy to work structured and solution-oriented in a dynamic environment?

You take responsibility, are flexible on the move and are happy to manage different projects in parallel?

As a Facility Coordinator at JYSK Switzerland, you support the implementation of our expansion and real estate strategy and ensure that our branches are optimally supervised and developed.

You work closely with internal interfaces and external partners and play a central role between retail, construction and administration.

You bring engagement and have the following main tasks...

  • Responsibility for the facility management of our branches and ensuring smooth operation
  • Project management of all Filial Projects (new openings, rebuildings, extensions and closures) including coordination of construction partners and internal stakeholders
  • Contact person for landlords, administrations and external service providers as well as control of renovations and reconstructions
  • Acquisition and evaluation of offers as well as securing costs, quality and compliance with JYSK standards
  • Working in the budget process incl.

Control of invoices and current costs

  • Control of approval procedures and ensuring all necessary permits
  • Monitoring construction projects and support in topics such as safety, fire protection and operating costs
  • Identification and implementation of optimizations to reduce energy and operating costs
  • Support for location acquisition, ticket processing and administrative tasks incl.

Contract management To be successful in the role, you can optimally bring the following...

  • Motivation to actively contribute to the success of JYSK Switzerland and take responsibility
  • Flexible, structured and independent operation and willingness to travel with occasional hotel accommodation within Switzerland
  • Technical or structural training or multiannual experience in a comparable environment
  • Experience in facility management of advantage
  • Organizational and the ability to control several projects in parallel
  • High initiative and pragmatic solution orientation
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English, French of advantage
  • Secure handling of MS Office
