The Position At Roche, we are shaping the future of healthcare. Our success is based on innovation, curiosity and diversity. Kaiseraugst (KAU) is one of our most important global hubs. The “CoRE” department (Compounding, Raw Material, Equipment) is part of the “Sterile Filling” manufacturing unit at the Kaiseraugst production centre. The CoRE department produces various solutions for liquid drug forms. In addition, freeze-and-thaw activities as well as stopper and equipment treatment take place in the department.

The possibility

As a production expert, you take on the following tasks in the production area:

• Freeze&Thaw: Operation and monitoring of specialized R/T facilities for the controlled thawing and freezing of APIs.
• Compounding: Implementation of initial weighing, preparation and mixing processes for the further processing of thawed APIs and auxiliary materials into finished pharmaceutical solutions.
• Equipment & stopper treatment: preparation, cleaning, sterilization of primary packaging and production equipment in cleanroom classes D and C.
• Process execution: Exact processing of manufacturing instructions (MES) according to cGMP guidelines.
• Process monitoring: sampling, monitoring of process parameters and documentation of deviations.
• Cleanroom & plant hygiene: CIP/SIP processes, manual cleaning and strict compliance with hygiene guidelines.

Who you are

In order to succeed in this exciting role, you ideally bring the following qualifications:

• Completed training as a chemical and pharmatechnologist:in, pharmacist:in or similar.
• High quality and regulatory awareness
• Exact operation according to SOPs.
• Experience in pharmaceutical production, ideally in solution production.
• Routine in cleanroom classes D and C.
• Safe handling of electronic production documentation systems (MES).
• Readiness for shift work (6-4 shift model)
• Very good knowledge of German (word and writing).

A perfect criminal record is a prerequisite for employment and will be requested in the further course of the application process.
