The Position With its 1400 employees, the Kaiseraugst Production Center (PTM) ensures uninterrupted patient care with high-quality medicines. PTM stands for the highest standards of pharmaceutical manufacturing, Roche’s largest, most innovative packaging centre and the supply of more than 120 countries.

In the area of DOI (Digital, Operational Excellence & Innovation) in the Business Automation Support team, you will work as a Business Automation Expert in the Daily Business and in projects in the field of packaging technologies with a wide range of interfaces. You support recurring regulatory compliance activities, malfunctions on the automation systems of packaging plants and are a subject matter expert in deviations, components and root cause analyses.

You work closely with the respective areas such as Manufacturing Units, Quality Assurance, Pharma Engineering, ITOT, MSAT and E&S.

The possibility

• Implementation or support of tests / implementation of new plants or systems in the area of responsibility of Business Automation Support (BAS)
• Support for qualification and validation of plants and processes in the packaging plant, independent implementation and documentation of qualification tests
• Cooperation in the preparation and maintenance of GMP documents (e.g. SOPs, rationales, risk analyses, test plans and reports, etc.)
• Continuous improvement of existing processes and related documents
• Ensuring the GMP fair lifecycle through the change control and deviation process in Veeva
• Compliance with data integrity and CSV requirements in close cooperation with Quality, for the Kaiseraugst site
• Administrator activities at facilities such as System Audit Trail Review
• Support from user and password management for the Kaiseraugst location
• Participation in local and cross-location expert teams

Who you are

You have an education with a focus on automation or in pharmaceutical, biotech, food, electrical or process engineering. In the best case, you have at least 2-3 years of professional experience in pharmaceutical production and its technologies (e.g. bottling technologies, packaging technologies, etc.) or a comparable industry. You distinguish yourself through a structured and independent working method and enjoy working on site at the Kaiseraugst site and are interested in getting to know our production facilities and processes and continuously improving them.

• You are open to new ideas, self-initiative and question conventional thinking patterns. You value working in a performance-driven environment driven by mutual respect, communication, discussion and collaboration
• You understand how to translate regulatory requirements into pragmatic solutions and formulate these issues in a structured, precise and easy-to-understand way at all levels of the organization.
• Experience in the Good Manufacturing Process (GMP) environment and possession of a company electrician permit are advantageous
• Experienced use of operating systems (Windows, Linux, etc.), MS Office applications and knowledge of SAP are advantageous
• You are interested in developing new and innovative solutions
• You love challenges and are ready to continuously develop yourself personally (polyvalence)
