For our client, an established Swiss industrial company in the Pratteln BL area, we are looking for a technically skilled, reliable and independently working person as a Maintenance Mechanic 80100% (m/f).

In this role, you work directly at the heart of production. You ensure that machines and systems function reliably, rectify technical faults and apply your expertise to maintenance, repairs and optimizations.

02 Your task

• Maintenance, repair and servicing of production systems, machines and operating equipment
• Systematic analysis and rectification of mechanical, pneumatic and hydraulic faults
• Carrying out preventive maintenance and servicing work in accordance with the maintenance plan
• Assisting with overhauls, modifications, installations and technical optimizations
• Supporting the assembly and commissioning of new machines and systems
• Ensuring high equipment availability and reliable production operations
• Identifying and implementing technical improvement opportunities
• Documentation of completed work and maintenance measures
• Close collaboration with production, engineering, quality assurance and external service partners
• Compliance with applicable safety, quality and operating regulations

04 Your profile

• Completed technical training as a polymechanic, production mechanic, agricultural machinery mechanic, construction machinery mechanic, plant and apparatus fitter, or in a comparable profession
• Professional experience in maintenance, servicing, assembly, or technical upkeep is an advantage
• Good knowledge of mechanics, ideally also of pneumatics and hydraulics
• Basic knowledge of electrical engineering is an advantage, but not a prerequisite
• Good understanding of machines, production systems, and technical processes
• Ability to systematically analyze malfunctions and resolve them in a practical manner
• Independent, reliable, and quality-conscious working style
• Hands-on mentality and enjoyment of solving technical problems directly at the equipment
• Team-oriented and solution-oriented personality
• Good German skills, both written and spoken
• Willingness to work day shifts or in shift operation, depending on the area of assignment
