Clinic for Aging and Neuropsychiatry (KAN)
For the acute care units of the Center for Old Age Psychiatry, we are looking for you as a permanent employee immediately or by appointment. The Psychiatric Services Aargau AG (PDAG) is responsible for the high-quality medical, therapeutic and nursing treatment and care of mentally ill people in the Canton of Aargau. They employ around 1,600 people in over 50 professions. Clinic for Aging and Neuropsychiatry (KAN) 5210 Windy Workload: 30 - 50% 30 - 50% , Monday to Friday
Over the area
As part of the Clinic for Consiliary, Aging and Neuropsychiatry (Clinical Director Dr. med.) Rafael Meyer fulfills the Center for Old Age Psychiatry (directed by Kristine Ewert, Dr. med.) Andrea Wald and Susanne Spring) with his offers a valuable task for the mental health of older people and their relatives. It has four specialized stations and two ambulatories with memory clinics at the Aarau and Windisch sites. In addition to consultation hours and counselling services for relatives, the outpatient area includes the old-age psychiatric consultancy and liaison service for nursing homes. The centre is SIWF-approved training centre for psychiatry and psychotherapy, old-age psychiatry, consiliar and liaison psychiatry and general internal medicine.
Tasks
- They complement the interdisciplinary team of our acute age psychiatric station with nursing/somatic expertise and an enthusiasm for treatment care.
- They are well versed in carrying out therapeutic measures ordered by a doctor, in particular blood sampling, infusion therapies and wound care.
- They work from Monday to Friday in the morning from 08:00
- They see themselves as part of the interdisciplinary treatment team and are jointly responsible for the professional implementation of internal processes and standards.
