For the neuropsychiatric acute care unit, our very well-established and humorous team is looking for you as a The Psychiatric Services Aargau AG (PDAG) is responsible for the high-quality medical, therapeutic and nursing treatment and care of mentally ill people in the Canton of Aargau. Over the area
The Center for Developmental and Neuropsychiatry (Stefanie Nil and Tabea Blatter) is part of the Clinic for Consiliary, Aging and Neuropsychiatry (Clinical Director Dr. med. Rafael Meyer). It offers a unique range of information and treatment for people with intellectual developmental disorder (mental disability) and mental illness. In addition to a neuropsychiatric outpatient centre, the centre has an interdisciplinary investigation centre, a consultancy and liaison service for facilities for people with intellectual developmental disabilities, and a specialized station that meets the latest scientific knowledge and quality standards in terms of facilities and treatment concept.
Tasks
- Inpatient acute care of people with an intellectual developmental disorder with various psychiatric conditions in close cooperation with the highly qualified interdisciplinary team
- They competently implemented the care process within the framework of caregiver work and share responsibility for the implementation of therapeutic, nursing and pedagogical measures
- You support people in the acute crisis, actively involving relatives and the individual living situation of patients
- Thanks to early planning in shift operations, you have the opportunity to plan your free time and work assignments in advance
Profile
- Completed training as a qualified nurse HF or FH, beneficial with experience in psychiatry, acute medicine, acute medicine or with people with intellectual developmental disabilities
- Willingness and interest to become familiar with a highly specialized treatment concept and to further develop it
- Strong personality with strong social and self-competence, as well as enjoyment of complex challenges
