Do you love the counselling and care with heart blood of people affected by diabetes? Are you interested in the clinical picture of diabetes and the health of those affected and their advice gives you pleasure? Do you like interdisciplinary collaboration in a team and across different hierarchical levels? Do you feel comfortable in a working environment by having plenty of room for manoeuvre? Then we should definitely get to know each other – we advise patients with the diagnosis of diabetes, accompany them on their way and make them fit for dealing with the disease in their everyday life.
- You help and support people in dealing with challenging situations and how best to deal with them and/or how to cope with them
- You build trusting and long-term relationships with your clients, communicate our support offers and bring them in line with their needs
- By working out the benefits of our offers and your strong empathy, you will develop individual support together with your clients and accompany them.
- You have completed training as a Dipl. nurse and already bring several years of professional experience in care
- You have completed further training as a «specialist expert in diabetes counselling with federal diploma» or equivalent training and have already gained experience in this counselling activity
- You have a great deal of empathy and are extremely competent in communication with clients:
- Even in challenging situations, you will find the right words and approaches to encourage your clients to implement health-promoting behaviors and integrate them into their everyday life.
