Become part of our dedicated three-person coding team and actively shape the future of medical coding. We take care of around 10,000 inpatient cases per year from the specialist areas: medicine, acute surgery, visceral surgery with ENT and urology, center for movement with orthopedics and spinal surgery, women's clinic with a certified breast center, obstetrics, plastic surgery - and are established in the house as a competent and valued point of contact. - You code the inpatient treatment cases and check the medical and nursing documentation for completeness and plausibility
- You bring your expertise and provide in exchange with treating doctors: inside to optimize the completeness of the medical services provided
- Support continuous optimization of documentation and coding quality
- You take on joint responsibility for the DRG test and rejection management, as well as telephone and written contact with service providers
- After the successful training period, home office is also possible in part-time work
- Obligatory you bring a completed training to the dipl. Nurse (care specialist DN II / AKP) or have completed medical studies. A further development in medical coding (H+) would be advantageous
- Ideally, you could already gain several years of practical experience in coding. But even if you are a career starter: we look forward to your application
- You describe yourself as a committed and independent personality with a strong motivation to drive forward processes
- You will benefit from good user knowledge in Excel, KIS (ORBIS) and ERP systems (Nexus PATng)
- You distinguish yourself through your structured and exact working method and quickly find your way around in new systems
- You have a flair for computer science and the expansion of IT support in coding makes you happy
- You are also interested in linking medical and economic topics
