- Carry out maintenance, service and deadline work on boats, outboard engines and army equipment independently
- carry out diagnoses, repair and adjustment work on boat engines, propulsion, small engines, diesel compressors, trailers and electrical and electronic systems professionally
- Revise or replace individual assemblies, examine completed work and evaluate defective components
- Perform condition checks on boats, analyze defects and record defect reports and spare parts in the SAP system
- Advise, accompany and control customers (troops and third parties) in handling and returns with regard to driving safety, accident prevention, maintenance, cleaning and inventory
- Instruct, train and assist learners and members of the army in technical matters
- Completed vocational training as an automotive mechatronics specialist/EFZ specialisation in passenger cars or commercial vehicles or equivalent technical training
- Professional experience in the diagnosis, maintenance and repair of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems and boat engines
- In-depth knowledge in dealing with modern diagnostic devices as well as good IT user knowledge, ideally with experience in SAP
- Independent, structured and quality-conscious working methods as well as strong technical understanding and high problem-solving competence
- Teamwork, reliability and flexibility as well as enjoyment of passing on expertise and technical support to members of the army
- Driving licence category B required, category CE, boat driving licence A of advantage; oral and written knowledge of a second official language
