As an automotive mechatronics engineer at the Othmarsingen Army Logistics Center at the Army Logistics Base, you play a key role in ensuring the operational capability of armored vehicles. They work on state-of-the-art technology, carry out diagnoses and contribute with precision to the reliability of our systems. You can make this contribution

• Carry out work on armoured vehicles (protected crew transport vehicles, wheel guards and reconnaissance vehicles)

• Maintain materials, systems and subsystems in the assigned field

• Specialised contracts handled independently

• Supporting troops in taking over and transferring materials at home and abroad

• Training, supervising and assessing assigned learners in accordance with the training programme

This makes them unique.

• Completed training as car mechanic or automotive mechatronics technician (agricultural machinery mechanic, commercial vehicles, passenger cars), construction machinery mechanic or equivalent

• category C driving licence is required
• The CE category is desirable

• Suva-recognized forklift pass of advantage

• Oral and written knowledge of a second official language
