Presently, an opportunity exists for a proficient and motivated Application Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated and highly skilled Application Engineer to join our team based at our headquarters in Mendrisio and will provides first line and onsite technical support to company’s customers, and support pre-sales activities such as demonstrations, evaluations, benchmarking exercises, as well as provides expertise on best practice with company systems. The application engineer also collects and reports customer feedbacks and test eventual solutions before deployment. The role requires availability to travel worldwide. The ideal candidate will bring a patient, organized, and problem-solving approach to their work and must have prior experience in a similar field.

• Technical support for both internal and external customers in the areas of product selection and application;
• Develop solutions for product applications;
• Provide content for the development and updating of product literature;
• Own all aspects of software engineering and product development;
• Communicate solutions for unique applications including design & special pricing;
• Provide general product application support and find solutions to field application problems;
• Understand requirements for challenging applications;
• Debugging, testing, code improvement and re-designing tasks;
• Organize and present training seminars internally and externally;
• Conduct product DEMO and training;
• Provide all necessary support to customers to guarantee a greatest customer
• Other duties as required

• Bas/Mas degree in Mechatronics Engineering or similar;
• A proven experience of work in the same role;
• Familiarity with Engineering disciplines, including Electrical, Electronical, Optical and Software;
• Knowledge of SMT, robotics and electronics manufacturing will be considered a plus;
• Availability to travel worldwide for field commissioning and/or troubleshooting work.
• Excellent written and oral skills;
• Proficiency in spoken and written English is mandatory. The knowledge of German and is a plus
