About the role
- Independent, error-free performance of application-related adhesive tests according to Sika standards or customer-specific specifications
- Planning, coordination, implementation and documentation of laboratory tests as well as processing of adhesive projects in close cooperation with market field engineers
- Logging, analysis and evaluation of the test results incl. Cooperation in results overviews and summaries
- Preparation of test and laboratory reports in the field of adhesive technology in cooperation with internal clients using modern computer systems
- Responsibility for testing all Sika Industry technologies
- Impeccable operation of the equipment of the Corporate Test Center as well as care and maintenance of the assigned laboratory equipment
- Responsibility for the appropriate, safe use of machines
- Assistance in the preparation and implementation of internal and external training courses, meetings and workshops
- Conduct training, meetings and workshops for internal and external users of Sika products for professional processing
Your skills and experience
- Technical training (e.g. chemistry, materials engineering, plastics engineering, laboratory technician or equivalent)
- Experience in adhesive technology, material testing or application technology of advantage
- Very precise, structured and independent working method
- Willingness to actively ask to ensure clarity and quality
- Strong skills in technical communication and documentation
- Team players with a high sense of responsibility
- Organized, informative and reliable personality
- Safe handling of computer systems (MS Office, laboratory software of advantage)
- Flowing knowledge of German
