Irregular stay data recorded in the monthly statistics of the Federal Office of Customs and Border Security fell again in July. A further decrease was also noted at the southern border, in Ticino, where the largest number of cases recorded by the federal customs authorities is concentrated, in particular in the sectors of Chiasso Stradale, Ponte Tresa and Stabio, hotspots of cross-border traffic.
