Middle Officer — Union Bancaire Privée

• Mission • The Middle Officer in Asset Management acts as the central point of contact for operational queries, ensuring timely client responses and smooth transaction processing. Key responsibilities include trade matching, settlement follow-up, daily reconciliations, collateral management, and issue resolution. The role also involves producing activity reports, collaborating with counterparties, and implementing new processes to enhance operational efficiency. • Main responsibilities • Act as the central point of contact for operational queries, and always available to respond to our client queries in a timely manner • Securities & FX trade matching, instruction to relevant third parties and settlement follow-up • OTC & ETD trade matching, and clearing monitoring • Produce the daily activity reports to third parties • Perform daily reconciliations of portfolio positions, cash balances and transactions. • Breaks analysis, investigation until resolution • Participation in the implementation of new processes and controls • Oversee the daily management of collateral for derivatives • Perform daily reconciliations of collateral balances with counterparties, resolving discrepancies in a timely manner. • Collaborate with counterparties, clearing brokers, and custodians to ensure smooth collateral movements and settlements. • Your Profile • +5 years of experience in Asset Management / Operations or FX activities • University degree(s) in accounting, finance and/or business management • Strong knowledge of fund structures, share class operations, and regulatory frameworks (e.g., EMIR, UCITS, AIFMD). • Deep understanding of currency markets, hedging instruments (e.g., forwards, swaps), and collateral management practices. • Specific competencies • Strong Analytical skills and problem-solving skills. • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across teams. • High attention to detail and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced
