- Your responsibilities
- Support the CMS LEXGLIMOS (Large Experiment Group Leader in Matters of Safety), working closely with the CMS Technical Coordination team and contributing to implementing CERN's safety objectives within CMS and defining the associated priorities and timelines.
- Basic experience in engineering (safety, industrial, mechanical, or a related field).
- Exposure to laboratory, workshop, or technical environments.

- Your responsibilities
- Support the CMS LEXGLIMOS (Large Experiment Group Leader in Matters of Safety), working closely with the CMS Technical Coordination team and contributing to implementing CERN's safety objectives within CMS and defining the associated priorities and timelines.
- Contribute to drafting and reviewing risk assessments and procedures for projects, works, areas and activities, and to updating the associated Safety File, particularly in support of the LS3 CMS upgrade.
- Help manage and assess the fire safety compliance of materials used in the CMS Phase II Upgrade Projects, including follow-up risk assessments for potentially non-compliant materials.
- Perform incident analyses and follow up on the implementation of safety actions and safety measures to support continuous improvement.
- Support emergency preparedness activities within CMS, including the coordination and organisation of planned evacuations.

- Ability to draft safety documentation and deliver oral presentations in at least one of CERN's two official languages (English or French).
- Proactive, organised, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and work both independently and as part of a team.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen interest in safety, engineering, and project delivery.
