Processo di candidatura
- You will join a team working on various measurement instrumentation and control applications used to operate, supervise, and improve CERN systems.
- You will contribute to the development and evolution of software built with LabVIEW and Python, supporting both existing operational tools and new developments.
- This includes applications used for vacuum measurements, data logging, gas analysis and the integration of instrumentation into CERN's control environment.
- The role also includes work related to new installations and upgrades, where reliable monitoring, automation and safe operation are essential.
- This is an opportunity to work close to equipment, users and experts, and to contribute to tools that are directly relevant for daily operation, commissioning and future upgrades.
- You will gain practical experience in measurement, controls, software integration, instrumentation and test environments, while learning CERN working methods and standards in a highly collaborative setting.
- Develop and maintain applications for monitoring and control of vacuum instrumentation using LabVIEW and Python.
- Contribute to software used with gas analysers, pressure gauges and related vacuum equipment.
