Your role with us

• Responsibility for the efficient handling of all warehouse processes (goods receipt, putaway, order picking and dispatch)
• You will provide support as required across all operational areas (stand-in role)
• Ensuring timely and high-quality order processing, particularly of customer orders
• Monitoring, managing and optimising stock levels, including carrying out stock-takes
• Analysing existing warehousing processes and continuously developing and optimising them (e.g. LEAN approaches)
• Working closely with the Purchasing and Sales departments
• Ensuring compliance with quality and safety regulations
• Supporting the Warehousing Team Lead with optimisation projects and the development and maintenance of key performance indicators
• Assisting with the training of logistics apprentices

What you bring to the role

• A completed qualification in logistics (e.g. Logistics Specialist EFZ) or a technical/commercial qualification with relevant practical experience in logistics
• Several years’ professional experience in warehouse logistics
• A high degree of flexibility combined with a quick grasp of processes and expertise in all operational areas of logistics
• Experience in using warehouse management systems (e.g. SAP, WMS or Microsoft Dynamics)
• Good knowledge of MS Office (particularly Excel)
• Very good command of German and a basic knowledge of English
• Further training in logistics or supply chain management would be an advantage
• Strong IT skills and a passion for working with systems
• Strong process-oriented mindset and knowledge of LEAN management
• Structured, independent and solution-oriented approach to work
• Analytical thinking and a good understanding of interrelationships
• Ability to work in a team, assertiveness, and a high degree of reliability and sense of responsibility
