Introduction
You will join a multidisciplinary team developing the next generation of high-performance superconducting radiofrequency (SRF) cavities.
In this role, after dedicated training in the team, you will develop and optimise advanced surface treatments essential to their performance, including chemical polishing, electrochemical polishing and electroplating.

- You will also contribute to the design, procurement, commissioning, and acceptance of a new surface treatment facility dedicated to SRF components.
- Master's Degree or PhD or equivalent relevant experience in the field of Chemical Engineering or a related field.
- Knowledge of metallurgy would be considered an asset. Technical competencies:
- Knowledge of metals and alloys: composition, structure, properties, heat treatments.
- Knowledge and application of numerical modelling in fluid mechanics and/or heat transfer. Behavioural competencies:
- Achieving Results: having a structured and organised approach towards work; being able to set priorities and plan tasks with results in mind.
- Spoken and written English or French, with a commitment to learn the other language. Eligibility and closing date:
