- Provide independent risk advice, guidance and challenge to key stakeholders on major activities, projects and business decisions across the P&C portfolio.
- Lead and oversee risk analyses and assessments, including risk deep dives and risk assessments for major projects; review and challenge risk responses; provide actionable risk insights to senior management.
- Develop and enhance risk governance, including policies, methodologies, tools and templates, ensuring consistent adoption across the P&C organization.
- Oversee assurance, monitoring and reporting activities, validating key findings and translating them into clear insights for senior management.
- Support Risk Management leadership on strategic priorities, executive discussions and key risk matters.
- Promote a strong risk culture through delivery of training and stakeholder engagement. What you bring
- 12+ years’ experience within P&C Commercial Insurance or Retail, preferably in a business function such as Underwriting or Claims, or in risk management.
- Degree or equivalent qualification/experience in risk management, insurance, actuarial science, finance, economics, business administration or a related discipline.
