About Us — The Frontaliere Ticino Team

Frontaliere Ticino is the leading independent information platform for Italian cross-border workers employed in Canton Ticino, Switzerland. Founded in 2024, it was created to serve the over 80,000 frontalieri who cross the Swiss-Italian border daily and need clear, up-to-date, and impartial information on taxation, social security, work permits, and daily life.

Our editorial team consists of experts in cross-border taxation, Swiss and Italian social security systems, and international labour law. The team monitors regulations from both countries daily — from the Federal Tax Administration (FTA/ESTV) to the Italian Revenue Agency (Agenzia delle Entrate), from SECO to INPS — to ensure every rate, procedure, and data point published is accurate and current.

Our Mission

Frontaliere Ticino's mission is to make the fiscal and administrative complexities of cross-border work accessible and understandable. Our simulators calculate net salary using actual 2026 Swiss and Italian tax tables, our comparators benchmark LAMal health insurance, cost of living, and transport options, and our job search engine aggregates over 1,500 active positions from more than 100 Ticino-based companies.

Expertise and Independence

All content is based exclusively on official sources: FTA tax tables, FSIO/BSV contribution parameters, FSO/BFS statistical data, SECO regulations, and Italian Revenue Agency publications. The platform is completely independent from banks, insurance companies, and employers — the information provided is impartial and verifiable.

The site is available in four languages (Italian, English, German, French) and is updated daily with the latest legislative developments, verified job offers, and market data. Over 700 in-depth articles cover every aspect of the cross-border worker's life, from first employment to retirement planning.
